A tâtons (Feeling our way along), 1997 (with Judith Josso)

Two women, two cameras, two televisions, two different places.

We found ourselves in a strange space (or spaces rather) where moments of pleasure and delirium take place. In vain we try to touch each other, see each other and find each other which are all impossible to do. It’s an impossible exchange in terms of image. The spectator who finds him/herself in-between both women at the same time finds the same predicament: the impossibility to see them both at the same time.
