Myself twice. One of me questions the other as would a talk show host. The other responds citing literary texts from Shakespeare, Calvino, Carroll, Dinesen, Warhol, etc..
I never respond with my own ideas with the exception of the moments where there is disagreements, laughter, or silence (moments without words).
Using other people's words as my own creates a distance between myselves and the texts since I am not speaking of my own experiences. Since all has already been said, piecing together parts of the history is a means of trying to find myself and my own views somewhere within all. Yet at the same time, I appropriate these words in vain since by saying them, I lie, I hide behind them.
